This one room cabin is perfect for two people and up to four guests, with a bed on the second level or an option to use the pull out couch on the ground floor. Equipped with a kitchen, bathroom, a shower, you’ve even got a great outdoor space in the backyard to enjoy breakfast or dinner out at night. We stayed in February and was plenty warm with the fire going too. They also have a private sauna next door too. In the springtime, you can enjoy their flower garden and lush greenery. It is also so beautiful when its snowing in the winter. I honestly thought this place was in the middle of West Virginia or something by the photos and then couldn’t believe it’s located just 10 minutes outside DC. It is located walking distance from Tanger Outlets and MGM Grand Casino in Maryland on the owners property and nestled in their backyard with easy street parking.
Tips for Staying:
- Book two nights to fully enjoy! One night wouldn’t be enough!
- Masha, the owner, will come a visit and show you how to use everything and super friendly!
- Bring snacks, food and breakfast items, and some wine!
- No need to bring any kind of bath towels, bed sheets, or toilet paper, all is included.
- Plan a nice dinner in DC, walk around National Harbor, visit MGM Grand, or shopping at Tanger Outlets during the day all within 10 minutes of the cottage. We stayed two nights and did all three. There are plenty of things to do in the area.
- At night, it is so much fun with the twinkle lights on!
- Even during the colder months, we were plenty warm in the cottage.
